Toro Equipment and Indemat shape innovation with an office built from their own Tank materials

Innovation also means daring to build with what you create. With this idea in mind, Toro Equipment and Indemat, companies dedicated to the manufacture of equipment and large tanks for water treatment and special composite materials, have built a circular office 20 meters in diameter using the same materials employed in their own tanks. This project reflects their approach to innovation: practical, sustainable, and driven by experience.

This new construction, part of the expansion of their factory in Villavaquerín (Spain), represents more than an industrial achievement: it is a statement of principles. A demonstration of engineering with identity, where technology, sustainability, and design come together to express a forward-looking vision committed to the environment and the local community.

Architecturally, the structure draws inspiration from the forms of the late Mexican-Spanish architect Félix Candela, reinterpreted through the composites developed by both companies. The result is a bright, open circular space that seems to emerge from the ground and blend into the landscape of the Jaramiel River valley, parallel to the Duero. A location that symbolizes the spirit of Toro Equipment: innovating from Castilla y León while staying connected to its roots.

Present in more than 100 countries, Toro Equipment manufactures its equipment and tanks with NSF-certified food-grade quality, offering sustainable, efficient, and competitive solutions to improve drinking water infrastructure and wastewater treatment systems. A clear commitment to a future where engineering, environmental responsibility, and technical excellence advance hand in hand.
