Pollutec Lyon, the international exhibition of environmental equipment, technologies, and services, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Since its foundation in 1978, this biennial fair has been addressing pollution issues. In 2004, it expanded its focus towards sustainable development and all related fields such as energy, soil, environmental risks, measurement tools, among others. Today, the Lyon fair covers all environmental fields, from waste collection to smart cities and the protection of habitats and biodiversity, and is well on its way to becoming one of the most important environmental trade fairs in Europe.
For 40 years, Pollutec has facilitated meetings between environmental professionals and project owners through dedicated events, networking tools and meeting scheduling. In addition, this edition highlights innovation with a program of conferences, award ceremonies and promotions.
This 28th edition of Pollutec Lyon is taking place at Eurexpo LyonFrance, and brings together some 700 exhibitors from 25 countries and more than 8700 visitors. In total, more than 70,000 professionals of 128 nationalities. In addition, it has several different thematic areas. Toro Equipment will be located in Hall 5, -dedicated to water- at stand G106, with all the latest innovations in equipment for industrial and urban wastewater treatment, water processing, water reuse and sludge treatment.
