On the 27th of November, the company Toro Equipment conducted an instructive day at the facilities of Canal de Isabel II at Madrid.
During this day different technical presentations about the equipment constructed at Toro Equipment where held during this day.
Specifically pre-treatment equipments from the brand Defender® were presented and the advantages of the rotary screen HPS compared to a conventional sieve, which is capable to handle up to 4 times higher flow rates, were highlighted. The dissolved air flotation units Anaconda®, for which Toro Equipment is the world leader thanks to their technology F.A.D.A.R®, the filter presses Draco®, compact plants as well as the W-Tank (a new prefabricated tank that Toro Equipment recently launched) were presented as well.
The collaboration between Canal de Isabel II and Toro Equipment made it necessary to their staff to understand these equipments where in the end this presentation was held.
This day was characterised by a cooperative and collaborative ambiance that lead to the exchange of different experiences and interesting proposals based on the prodigious experience that Canal de Isabel II has of the installation, exploitation and maintenance of water treatment plants.
The primary objective was to pass on the advances which are incorporated into these different equipments to the personnel of Canal de Isabel II which are involved in ongoing projects.
Currently Toro Equipment has various equipments installed in the canal of the province of Madrid.
