Automatic Polyeletrolyte Plants 

The installation of the Automatic Polyelectrolyte Plant is essential for the dosage of chemicals in wastewater treatment. The flocculation of solid particles is used in all types of industrial and urban wastewater. (en español te falta “en” todo tipo de aguas..)

These plants allow the preparation (mixing with water), maturation and dosage of the polyelectrolyte in an automatic and simple way.

Advantages of the automatic polyelectrolyte plant:

  • It allows the regulation of the supply pressure as needed thanks to a control solenoid valve and pressure reducer with a pressure gauge arranged in the water circuit.
  • It is resistant to corrosion.
  • It has control of the automatic start and stop of the agitator, of the polyelectrolyte and water inlet.
  • It is designed to prevent lump formation.

  • It is made up of three chambers, one for mixing, another for maturation and a third that collects the mature polyelectrolyte at the optimum point for use.
  • The retention time for each chamber is 30 minutes.
  • It includes an anti-condensation nozzle for the exit of the polyelectrolyte.
  • It has a double helix to promote mixing.
  • It can work with both powdered and emulsified polyelectrolyte.

Preparation, maturation and dosage of polymer powder

  • Toro Equipment’s PAP is an equipment consisting of a rectangular-shaped main tank made of GRP where the preparation and maturation of the polymer powder is carried out, with an upper operating nozzle and a lower drainage nozzle. It has a mixer. The dosage of the polyelectrolyte is carried out in the hopper that is made of stainless steel.

Preparation, maturation and dosage of emulsified polymer

  • The automatic emulsified polyelectrolyte plant for sludge conditioning, prior to dewatering, and it is formed by a main tank made of GRP, a mixer, and a disperser to achieve the optimum concentration of liquid polymer.

Sludge Conditioning Tank

Facilitates sludge treatment making dewatering more profitable and effective.

The Toro Equipment Sludge Conditioning Tank (TAF) is a vertical cylindrical GRP tank that allows the chemical conditioning of the sludge, facilitating the filtration processes.

Once the sludge has been pretreated, it can be dewatered by means of Filter press.

  • It has an agitator for mixing the sludge. Its operation is controlled from the general panel of the plant.
  • It has a visibility band for visual control of the level of sludge.
  • It is provided with level systems that indicate the height of existing sludge in the tank

Cabinets for Dosing Pumps

Fully standardized and ready to mount.

Made of GRP. This material gives them a resistance to corrosion and a greater durability than conventional ones.

These wall cabinets can be installed both indoors and outdoors.

  • Body made of GRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester).
  • Removable walls to facilitate pump maintenance tasks.
  • Front screen in polycarbonate.
  • Lower tray made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene).
